Momentum Occupational Therapy provides independent occupational therapy services specialising in the assessment of children and adolescents with additional needs arising from:

Assessment
You can expect to receive an individualised assessment that draws upon our expertise in identifying the barriers to your child participating in the roles and activities they want and need to perform. Standardised and informal assessments in their home, child care facility and/or school support the detailed analysis of their unique strengths and challenges.

Therapy Intervention
Following an assessment to establish your priorities and goals, therapy intervention sessions are targeted to enhance participation in the areas such as:
developing motor skills
building emotional regulation​
supporting transitions e.g to school or college
improving attention and focus for learning
increasing independence in self-care; dressing, toileting, mealtimes
development of functional skills that promote community and leisure participation
Comprehensive Written Reports
A written report documents the evaluation and provides you with a summary of the assessment findings. It highlights recommendations for implementing the individualised goals.
We are able to provide an additional service for comprehensive reports required for Education Health and Care plans (EHCP).

Case Managers and Legal Representatives
We deliver responsive high quality services to meet the needs of your clients.
Comprehensive assessment reports detail evidenced-based clinical reasoning submitted within required timescales.
