Individualised Assessments Services
Initial Assessment
Is your child experiencing difficulties in their daily activities such as getting dressed, organising their school items, participating in play?
An initial assessment includes a consultation with parents and an observational assessment of the child in their home and/or learning environment to evaluate their needs and identify your goals.
You will receive a written summary report of findings including recommendations to support goals.
Assessment duration totals approximately 3-4 hours.

An additional service is available should you require a more comprehensive evaluation, for example to support Educational Health Care Plan processes. Contact us to discuss your individual requirements.
Sensory Assessment
Does the presence of particular sounds, sights and sensations seem to impact on your child's response to their environment? Do they become distressed and overwhelmed, causing them difficulties staying focused on the activities they need to perform? Are you seeking ways to support your child to regulate, calm and organise their bodies?
An assessment of your child's sensory and motor processing evaluates whether sensory perceptual differences contribute to their difficulties performing activities of self care, productivity (learning) and play.
The use of standardised assessments and observations of the child performing activities in their home and/or learning environments are conducted.
You will receive a written report profiling the child's sensory characteristics and recommendations for sensory interventions to support their performance.
